Eric "Fly" Stevens Weekdays 2p-6p

Eric Fly Stevens is from the mean streets of Charlotte Michigan where he graduated high school in 1994.   After a year of studying music in ColumbusOhio, he returned to Lansingto enroll at LansingCommunity Collegewhere he studied Audio recording.  Radio came up after enrolling in a class in radio production and the rest is history.  Graduated in 98 and moved on to weekends and eventually overnights at WWDX in Lansing. 

Fly patrolled the overnights until the fall of 2003 when the station flipped formats and a stint with WKMY.  The fall of 2004 saw Fly move west and join up with the Rocker on weekends where he was known as “The Nightfly”.  Mid-days opened and Fly became the host.  He is also Assistant Program Director and in charge of station Imaging.  Now Fly has moved into the afternoons on from 2p-6p.

Music is a major part of Fly’s life.  When he’s not on air you can find him listening to all sorts of music.  Pearl Jam and Steely Dan are two of his personal favorites along with the many projects of Mike Patton (Fantomas, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom). Although, he doesnt play much anymore, Fly plays tenor saxophone, piano and a little guitar. 

Fly also enjoys Cooking, hanging out at home with his wife Erika watching Tv and Movies and Sporting Events (Hockey,Baseball)  Martial Arts movies mostly those featuring Jet Li or Jackie Chan and Italian Horror Giallos of Dario Argento are some of his favorites.
