Steve Ailes grew up in the small farm town of Marcellus Michigan. A booming town of about 1,300 people or so...wishful thinking. While attending the School of Communication at WMU, he needed just one more credit hour to graduate. Not being one to do more than he needed to, Steve took a internship on the Rocker Morning Show. After interning for six months, McKelly finally caved in and offered Steve the night slot on WRKR. Chalk one up for persistence!
When he's not bothering the other staff at the station, he's typically playing music on various stages throughout the area. Now a family man, he still resides in that small town of Marcellus with Jamie and his son Davis.
